My Gluten Free Disney World Experience: Cinderella's Royal Table

When I went to Disney World in February, I was super nervous as to what I could eat. I have tons of food allergies and being gluten free on top of everything… I thought it would make me lose that Disney magic. Well turns out, I really didn’t have anything to worry about . There were so many options for me EVERYWHERE!! So, I thought why not share my gluten free Disney Experience with everyone and to the fellow Disney person who is afraid of food options at Disney!

CINDERELLA’S FREAKING ROYAL TABLE. I HAVE ALWAYS ( sorry for the caps I am just too excited) wanted to go there as a child. I never thought that I would be able to eat here but my husband being the angel he is, said “ Let’s do it! I want the full Disney World Experience.” So we MAGICALLY got a reservation for that day at 4pm!

Upon walking in the castle, you get to meet Cinderella as she welcomes you for dinner. You take an enchanted stairway ALL the way to Cinderella’s dining room. They seat you and your family. The overall experience. Is a 10/10 and well worth the price. I do think it is sophisticated enough for parents and couples. But also fun for the children as well.

Now to the important options: the GLUTEN FREE FOODS! So if you make a reservation, you are able to tell them of your food allergies on your My Disney Experience App. However, upon arrival I did ask for the gluten free options and menu. I am typically more a hot dog, hamburger type basic person. The sophisticated foods… I can be kinda picky. BUT everything that I had, was delicious and ya girl felt boujee.

They serve you an appetizer, entree, and a dessert. Let’s begin!

Appetizers of the Court

I SAW PEPPERONIS and was like okay, I can get down with this. This is the “ Charcuterie”, it is a selection of meats, pickles and accompaniments. There was some spicy brown mustard, and some kind of potatoes on the side. I love pickles but only dill and these were a little sweet for me to be honest. Other than that. *KISS KISS* the chef done it right.

Entrees Royal

THIS WAS SOOOOOO GOOD. Something my husband and I constantly spoke about was the fact that Disney had some AMAZING Food. This is the “ Tenderloin of Beef” It is Beef Tenderloin with Celery Root Mash, seasonal veggies and Bordelaise. I think that I asked for the sauce on the side again because ya girl is super picky. The celery root mash was a pleasant surprise. I did not think that I would like it, but I really did it was buttery and similar to mash potatoes but a healthier version. I have to say I am so impressed by the fact that I could eat all of this with no problem at all! This is a must have if you go to the Royal table.

last but for sure NOT LEAST. ….

Finales

I tried not to cry when I saw this come out. I can still taste it. This is the best gluten free dessert I have ever had in my whole life. Maybe just the best dessert ever too. This was called “ The Clock Strikes Twelves” , it is a dark chocolate moose with a dark chocolate ganache, with a raspberry coulis. This was hard to believe it was gluten free. I couldn’t believe it. It melts in your mouth but it is fluffy and just overall delightful. You leave the palace feeling content, not overly and sickly stuffed, but rather content and satisfied. I WILL go back.

Another cool thing about the Royal Table in my opinion is the fact that multiple princesses were walking around throughout dinner. We also got a couple Disney souvenirs for on the way out. The servers are incredible and I was living my childhood dream. Now the price was around $75 per adult. However it is well worth it because you get DELICIOUS food, meet a lot of the princesses and you get to eat IN the castle. All in all “ the dream that I wished, [did] come true” I was a princess hanging out in Cinderella’s castle.
