Disney Beach Club Resort
Disney's Beach Club Resort is a charming and enchanting getaway that combines the magic of Disney with the relaxation of a beachfront retreat. I was so surprised at how much I adored this hotel. I am a Grand Floridian, Contemporary, Riviera Person. So this, BLEW MY MIND.
This deluxe resort is part of the Epcot Resort Area and gives guests a unique blend of luxury, entertainment, and the signature Disney Magic! Let’s get right into it.
Theme and Atmosphere:
This hotel transports you to a seaside charm reminiscent of classic New England beach resorts. The resort's architecture is characterized by pastel colors, clapboard siding, and charming details, creating a welcoming and relaxed atmosphere. The nautical theme is evident throughout the resort, from the lobby to the guest rooms, immersing visitors in a coastal ambiance that perfectly complements the nearby Epcot theme park. You will see characters such as Donald Duck, Daisy, Huey, Duey and Luey and the mouses (Minnie and Mickey) throughout the paintings.
Accommodations:
The Beach Club Resort offers a variety of accommodations, including standard rooms, suites, and villas. The rooms are tastefully decorated with a beach-inspired color palette, cozy furnishings, and whimsical Disney characters. I stayed in the Deluxe Room and it was adorable. The only downfall like most hotels is that you can hear what is going on outside. So make sure if you are a light sleeper, to bring a sound machine! The room we were in comes with two Queen Beds and a pull-out couch. The bathroom has two sinks as well with a shower and tub combo.
Stormalong Bay: A Water Wonderland:
One of the highlights of Disney's Beach Club Resort is Stormalong Bay, a three-acre water wonderland shared with Disney's Yacht Club Resort. This expansive pool complex features sandy shores, lazy rivers, and a life-sized shipwreck with a water slide. Guests can unwind in one of the many hot tubs, float along the lazy river, or simply bask in the Florida sun on the sandy beach. Stormalong Bay is a true aquatic paradise for guests of all ages.
Dining Delights:
So many delicious places to eat here, you can eat along the boardwalk and snack around! After a long day at the park or a break resort day, this is where you are going to want to eat. There is enough to go and see or eat. At the Beach Club, Cape May Cafe is a popular choice for character dining, featuring a delicious seafood buffet with visits from favorite Disney characters in their beach attire. For a more upscale experience, guests can indulge in a romantic dinner at the acclaimed Yachtsman Steakhouse, known for its prime steaks and fresh seafood.
Proximity to Epcot and Disney's BoardWalk:
One of the BEST parts about staying at Disney's Beach Club Resort is its proximity to both Epcot and Disney's BoardWalk. Guests can easily stroll to Epcot's World Showcase or enjoy the lively entertainment, dining, and nightlife at Disney's BoardWalk. The convenient location allows for easy access to these popular destinations without the need for transportation. You can use the Skyliner, the ferry, or even WALK to Epcot. I often would walk outside and watch the Epcot fireworks
I think the Beach Club will almost make you want to never stay at another Disney Hotel again. It has so many food options, transportation proximity, and more.
