GRAND FLORIDIAN HOTEL ROOM
I have waited my whole life to stay at the Grand Floridian. My dad brought us here when we were younger for a lunch reservation and something he said to me was “ One day you will be old enough and make enough money to stay here with your family.” Guess what, 20 years later, I did JUST that.
I brought my little family with me to the best little hotel ever- DURING CHRISTMAS TIME.
My overall thoughts of this hotel are that it is STUNNING. Beautiful, within walking distance to Magic Kingdom. You even have the monorail to get you around the parks that you can’t walk to. This hotel was due for a renovation, and the new rooms are to DIE for. I think that in general, the rooms were a little bit loud during Christmas time because of the after-parties so if you or someone in your family is a light sleeper… Bring a sound machine. Here is a link to my favorite one from hatch. I once watched a Disney documentary on Disney + and something that I realized was that Walt Disney wanted his hotel rooms to be top-of-the-line luxury. On top of building an incredible theme park. He wanted it to be more. A whole experience from the stay to your day. The Grand Floridian is so special and there are so many things I could talk about but I need to focus on just sharing the renovated rooms.
The details are stunning: from the Mary Poppins decor down to the little splash pad they have for the kiddos. This is a special hotel stay that my family will never forget. I love the bedrooms. The beds were fluffy and soft, the decor was STUNNING. The bathrooms have either a shower or a shower tub combo.
