EPCOT FESTIVAL OF THE ARTS
Epcot is one of the most underrated parks out there. I know that not a lot of people like it- I literally have no idea why. Epcot is my favorite park. There is so much to do if you are not a huge rollercoaster person. There is family fun for everyone. People say they like Epcot for drinking around the world- but I LOVE it for eating around the world. Not only that but just the little mini bits of each culture you get to learn about while you are there. Even if your family can’t travel around the world you sure can travel around Epcot.
Something special that Epcot has that is different than the other parks is the different festivals that occur throughout the year. You can see that below. With that being said, if you go to Epcot during any festival time, it will probably be very busy. Just a heads up.
2024 EPCOT Festival Dates
EPCOT International Festival of the Arts ( FARTS) – January 12–February 19, 2024
Flower and Garden Festival – March 3rd through July 5th (Disney has not announced the official 2024 dates)
EPCOT International Food and Wine Festival – July 27th through November 17th (Disney has not announced the official 2024 dates)all
But today, I want to dive into the fun that I had in January at the Festival of the Arts. Maybe it is because I love art, but this was one of my favorite times I have ever gone to Disney World. I LOVE to go in January. Typically the crowds are lower and the weather at Orlando doesn’t make me want to die of a heat stroke. Anyway, let’s dive into some of the reasons why the Epcot Festival of the Arts is one that you should go to!
It is a colorful BEAUTY. (FARTS) is an aesthetic festival. Mostly because of the amount of incredible legendary Disney Artists that have booths where you can purchase authentic prints. Not only that, but sometimes they have to meet the artists and they will sign your purchased pieces- FOR FREE. I can’t believe it. I got to meet the ASHLEY Taylor! She was lovely and her artwork was beautiful.
There are COLORFUL and fun food options. You can find a list of fun food options at the legendary Disney Food Blog. I love going to Epcot booths and finding all these little unique food options. Epcot is really for the foodies.
Limited Merch: If you are a Disney fan, you know that they always come through on the merch end of things. This year there have been tons of Figment decorations and fun popcorn boxes. I even got a mug that may be my favorite mug I have ever owned.
If you are thinking about going to an Epcot Festival, here is me giving you the validation that you SHOULD. There are so many fun things to do and see and every festival is unique with magical touches.
